I have cheated my way with the harness thing Baby steps had a little payoff, but still he put on a fight at walk time and I didn't want to undo the work done because we had to force the harness onto him First thing first, we really loosen the new one, and I can really feel the difference, specially on the chest part, I'm certain it's way more confortable And I use the ultimate reinforcer : the LickMat with liver paste : I put a little nut of paste on the mat, give him the mat and put the harness on him. He's more docile than ever and it totally work :) I may be using a shortcut, but I still have the feeling that I create positive association with putting the harness on I still give treats here and there when showing the harness, or walking with the harness Is this solution acceptable ?
