Hi, my dog Milo has become very aggressive after I was training him for about 3 weeks, I was really surprised to see this since my Dog Milo used to cuddle and sleep with me but after the training he has become agitated and aggressive. I followed every instruction but found that after his trainings he would become very agitated. I’ve stopped training him for a while and Switched methods after that he seemed to calm down but he’s still aggressive. I think braintraining4dogs is an excellent training tool but it wasn’t for my dog sadly. I was wondering how do I cancel my membership?

Hi there,

So sorry to hear that your dog has started to become aggressive. This is very unusual and the very first time I have heard that.  Brain Training 4 Dogs methods are force-free and unlike alpha or dominance dog training they are meant to not encourage aggression. Actually, to the contrary, studies have found that dogs trained using positive reinforcement methods are reportedly less stressed and less likely to be aggressive.

I am curious to know how the aggressive behavior manifested, in what exact context, what you were doing at the moment the very first time you noticed a behavior change, how you have corrected your dog for not getting things right, your emotions during the training (happy? frustrated?),  for how long you have been training, what behaviors you have seen (describe what he does when being agitated/aggressive) and also what method you switched to that has caused to calm down. Also, it would be helpful to know how long you have had this dog.
