Training one skill at a time

Should we train only one skill at a time, and when they have mastered that, move on to the next skill? Or can we teach a few skills in one training session?

Good question. When training a dog, the approach can vary based several factors such as the age of the dog, his/her attention span, whether he/she has received any training before, and the complexity of the skills you're trying to teach. However, in general, it's often more effective to focus on one skill at a time during a training session, especially with a young puppy.
