Training more than one dog

I have 2 dogs that need some help with obedience. Is it best to work with them together or seperate/?

If they are entirely new to obedience, it would be best having them trained separate in the initial stages. Once the behavior becomes more fluent in both, you can then introduce the distraction of each other as part of the proofing process.
