Biting

Hello    

my dog has been biting my family members  frequently over the last couple of weeks. We got her from a rescue agency, she was a street dog in Mexico most of her life and acts out of fear and anxiety. We have had her for two and a half months now and her biting has got progressively worse. She doesn’t respond to treats or punishment, so it is hard to follow training instructions. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you

How old is this dog?

How big is she? 

Are there any children in the household? If so, what ages? 

What level of biting? In other words, how would you describe it? Is she breaking skin?

What seems to trigger her biting?  Can you describe what happened prior to each bite? 

What have you been doing so far when she bites?  You mention using treats or punishment, can you go into more detail on what you are doing exactly? 

Have you informed the rescue agency of her biting?
