Puppy seemed potty trained for weeks. Now peeing in the house

Taught our puppy to ring the bell to go outside and it worked beautifully for weeks.  This week she's peed in the house 4-5 times!  Still running bell most if the time but not always.  Any suggestions?

Any time there are set backs as such, we need to carefully evaluate what may be going on. I may therefore need some more info about your situation.

How old is your puppy?

How long have you had him/her?

Is she male or female? And is she/he spayed or neutered?

How many weeks was your puppy trained to use the bell to a good level of proficiency?

What do you do when you notice the pee or when you catch her going?

Any recent changes at your place?

What do you use to clean messes?

Would you say she is peeing more frequently than usual and in small amounts?

dependant on your puppies age it could possibly be them simply being 'caught short' much like a child. Like Adrienne said though, there is a whole host of potential causes. I hope you get the answers you need 🙂

Try to ensure the area is properly cleansed as dogs have amazing scent tracing, and if your pup is going to the toilet alot more frequently they may have a bladder infection or something.
