My dog is a 5 year old pit bull/ bull dog mix and she is the sweetest dog with people until food comes into the mix. My husband and I adopted her from a family who could no longer take care of her. She was never aggressive towards me until I go to feed her. Sometimes when I put her bowl down, immediately she starts growling at me even if I back away immediately. How do I get her to not growl or get aggressive with people when she gets fed? Or ever? Also she’s gotten more used to other dogs but she still gets aggressive if people are eating or the other dog is eating.
