I brought Molly home at 7weeks and 3 days. She excelled at potty training, learned to ring the bells early on and virtually has had no accidents in the house. I don't have a fenced yard, therefore, she must always be on her leash outside. For quite sometime she finds the leash to be more of a toy and nearly always grabs at it and jumps all over me. Training her not to jump off leash is not a problem, but trying to get her to sit, stop biting the leash, and jumping all over me is not going well. At times, I can distract her by holding a treat in front of her nose, telling her to 'drop it' and sit but it doesn't always work and I find myself terribly frustrated. What do you suggest?
