I am desperate. I have a female aussie husky mix and she's 3 1/2 months old. We got her when she was about 8 weeks old and we have been consistently taking her outside to go potty. Most of the time we sit outside because it's nice weather right now, we live in Arizona. She'll go potty outside as long as she's outside, but if we leave her inside for any length of time, let's say an houror so maybe she'll urinate on the floor every time. She has never asked to go outside. We praise her every time she goes outside and I think she knows she is supposed to but wont.
shs wont stay outside alone. If we let her outside to go potty by herself, she won't go potty, she just runs and jumps on the glass door is hard as she can and Barks until we let her in. Now she's starting a new thing at night while she's in her crate, every morning about 2:00 a.m. she starts barking like she has to go potty, we get up take her out to go potty and she wants to play she won't go potty.
She also is afraid of everything, any new room in our house that she hasn't been allowed in before, afraid of going out front, afraid of going in the car and afraid of going for a walk. She is terrified of anything new even new people.
She jumps on and nips everyone, you have to be costanly holding, petting and playing with her. She is very very needy.
I need tons of help I don't know what to do with this puppy. I have never had a dog act like she does and be so needy. I've had several dogs throughout my 60 years of life and never had one like this.
I work full-time, my husband works part-time at night and we have a 10-year-old daughter who goes to school during the day. Most of the time someone is home with her, but goes in her crate when we can't physically have our eyes on her. Please help!
