Hi There from Leia, Kramer & Kinzie!

Hey everyone,

 

I tried the airplane game and the exercise in the video where you popped in and out and it really helped squealch some of the jumping at the front door. It was exciting! The airplane game was really easy for them to catch on. Leia is 5 years old, we've had her for 3+ years now. We've just recently adopted our 10 month old's (Kinzie) brother, Kramer. They were both adopted at 8 weeks originally, and while Kinzie grew up with us. She had a basic puppy manners class, and a home filled with love, safety and stability, Kramer was abused (from what we can tell) by 3 members of his previous family. While we have been able to soothe and resolve most of his fear and aggression, but we are still having a lot of socialization issues. On top of that, it seems that his fears are starting to spill over to his sister.

 

I'm hoping by working through your program it will stimulate their brains (they are very intelligent!) and will help them both feel safe and secure whether we are home or out somewhere.

Aww, pets and scratches for poor Kramer. I have a fear-based aggressive pooch, too. It does get better with time, and setbacks do happen, but with patience (loads of it for me) things do get better. :) If you have anything specific to ask, hop on over to the Dog Training & Behavior section.
