Yes, here are some exercises for a more gentle mouth:

Use gloves initially if your pup has a really rough mouth, and when you don't have time to train reward by simply tossing the treats rather than hand feeding them. 

Once you have a softer mouth, using your hands like a Kong, can help further emphasize that licking is rewarded, while rough mouthing is not:
